IV Compounding IV Sterile Compounding Staff Pharmacist | Thomasville, North Carolina

This opportunity is perfect for a licensed pharmacist experienced in retail and compounding pharmacy environments. The role involves working in a specialty retail setting with a focus on both sterile and non-sterile compounding. You will manage prescription processing using PK software (similar to QS1), with training provided, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in filling orders.

Location: Thomasville, NC
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break
Duration: 13-week contract with the potential for direct hire

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding as required
• Enter prescription orders into pharmacy management software
• Provide excellent customer service and patient counseling
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant pharmacy environment

Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina pharmacy license (required)
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience
• Experience with sterile compounding strongly preferred
• Experience with non-sterile compounding is a plus
• Ability to learn and adapt to PK order entry system
