Retail IV Compounding Staff Pharmacist | Thomasville, North Carolina

A specialty retail pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to support their sterile and non-sterile compounding operations in Thomasville, NC. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers a 13-week day shift role with the potential for direct hire, ideal for pharmacists with retail and compounding experience interested in a dynamic pharmacy environment.

Location: Thomasville, NC
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• 1-hour lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions in a specialty retail setting
• Perform both sterile and non-sterile compounding tasks following established protocols
• Utilize the PK order entry system (training provided) to manage prescription processing
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards
• Provide excellent patient care and counseling services

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in North Carolina (required)
• 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience, preferably in retail settings
• Experience with sterile compounding is a strong plus
• Experience with non-sterile compounding is highly desirable
• Ability to use or willingness to learn the PK order entry system
