LTC Staff Pharmacist - Topeka, Kansas

A closed-door Long Term Care (LTC) pharmacy in Topeka, KS is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role offers the opportunity to work within a specialized environment focused on quality and patient care in the LTC setting. The position requires availability on Thursdays and Fridays, from 9 AM to 6 PM, providing consistency and a manageable schedule.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Performing cycle checking to maintain inventory integrity
• Verifying prescriptions accurately and efficiently

Qualifications:

• Active Kansas Pharmacist license in good standing with no negative history
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience; LTC experience is preferred but new graduates and those with retail experience are encouraged to apply
• Ability to begin working immediately
