RPh on the Go is urgently seeking a Staff Pharmacist for an ongoing opportunity with a busy closed-door long-term care pharmacy.

This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist looking for a consistent Thursday and Friday schedule, and the pharmacy is also open to candidates interested in full-time hours.

Position Details

Location: Topeka, KS
Schedule: Thursdays & Fridays
Hours: 9:00 AM6:00 PM

About the Pharmacy

Large closed-door LTC pharmacy
Serves nursing home patients
High-volume environment, processing approximately 8001,000 prescriptions per day
Large, well-supported pharmacy team

Responsibilities

Perform medication verifications
Complete quality assurance (QA) activities
Perform cycle checking
Help ensure prescription accuracy and patient safety
Support daily pharmacy operations in a high-volume environment

Requirements

Active and clear Kansas Pharmacist License
No negative license history
1+ year of pharmacist experience
LTC experience preferred, but retail pharmacists and newer graduates will be considered
Must be available to start ASAP
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
