Staff Pharmacist in Wappingers Falls, NY

A full-time Staff Pharmacist position is available to support behavioral health patients in New Paltz, NY. This role involves managing complex medication regimens, collaborating closely with prescribers and healthcare teams, and ensuring safe, effective delivery of behavioral health medications. The ideal candidate will have specialized behavioral health pharmacy experience and a strong clinical background.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, dosing, drug interactions, allergies, and clinical appropriateness
• Dispense prescription medications safely and accurately
• Provide medication counseling and education to patients and their caregivers
• Support patients with behavioral health conditions and complex therapies
• Communicate with prescribers for clarifications or therapy concerns
