Staff Pharmacist - West Chester, Pennsylvania

A retail pharmacy opportunity in Boothwyn, PA is available for a Staff Pharmacist with a contract-to-hire arrangement lasting 13 weeks. This role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care through prescription dispensing and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key responsibilities include managing inventory and costs, leading immunization programs such as COVID-19 and influenza vaccines, and engaging with patients and the public to promote health initiatives. The pharmacist will also provide team leadership, contribute to quality assurance efforts by implementing quality checks and process improvements, and utilize patient feedback to enhance service delivery. Data management and reporting duties are also integral to this position.

Schedule highlights:

• Week 1: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM 6:00 PM
• Week 2: Monday to Wednesday & Friday, 9:30 AM 6:00 PM; Thursday, 10:00 AM 2:00 PM; Saturday, 10:00 AM 2:00 PM (work every other Saturday, alternating with a part-time pharmacist)

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid PA Pharmacist license
• Immunization certification preferred
• Recent retail pharmacy experience is required
• Comfortable with an alternating Saturday schedule
