Staff Pharmacist - West Chester, PA

A specialty compounding pharmacy in Kennett Square, PA, is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity. This role offers a hands-on experience overseeing fulfillment operations while providing direct patient care in a dynamic setting focused on customized pharmaceutical solutions.

Responsibilities include supervising fulfillment personnel and workflow during your shift, assisting with the shipping and handling of prescription orders when needed, and ensuring that all prescriptions are processed accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards. You will be responsible for preparing medications with precision, maintaining thorough documentation, and assessing patient medication histories to develop and monitor effective care plans.

A key aspect of this role is patient interaction: you will counsel patients on prescription medications, over-the-counter drugs, and nutritional supplements, educating them on proper use and monitoring for drug interactions or therapeutic duplications to ensure safe and effective therapy.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 2 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Recent graduates with appropriate licensing are encouraged to apply
