An opportunity is available for a Per Diem Pharmacist supporting a veterinary pharmacy specializing in large animals. This role involves processing approximately 100 prescriptions daily in a fast-paced, yet focused environment.

Location:

  • West Point, MS

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Initial working dates: November 12, 19; December 10, 17
  • One day of paid training provided prior to start

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter prescriptions into the pharmacy system and print labels
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure correct medication filling
  • Maintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations and procedures
  • Provide reliable pharmacy support to veterinary staff servicing large animals

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Mississippi pharmacist license required
  • Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy experience; retail experience acceptable
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently in a high-volume environment
