Staff Pharmacist - Outpatient Pharmacy

Location: Wheat Ridge, CO
Duration: 13+ Week Contract-to-Hire Opportunity

We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join a busy outpatient pharmacy team in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys direct patient interaction, medication management, and working in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Review medication orders for accuracy, safety, and appropriateness
• Identify and resolve drug interactions and utilization concerns
• Provide medication counseling and education to patients
• Dispense controlled substances in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Support inventory management and medication stocking activities
• Answer pharmacy-related inquiries and assist customers as needed
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions
• Collaborate with pharmacy leadership and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Pharmacist license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of retail or outpatient pharmacy experience
• Strong customer service and patient counseling skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Experience with Epic Willow preferred
