A rewarding opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist specializing in retail pharmacy operations. This role offers a chance to contribute in a busy pharmacy environment processing approximately 600 prescriptions daily, utilizing the PioneerRx system and providing quality care to patients.

Position Details:

• Location: Los Alamos, NM
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM; Saturday 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (rotating weekends)
• Job Type: Contract to Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Deliver excellent customer service and provide thorough patient counseling
• Verify USP 800 non-sterile compounded prescriptions (verification only; no compounding)
• Manage daily pharmacy operations effectively in a high-volume setting

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear New Mexico Pharmacist License required
• Experience with non-sterile compounding verification preferred
• Background working in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment is advantageous
