Staff Pharmacist | Williamsburg, Virginia

This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist working the second shift in a closed-door, long-term care (LTC) facility. The position involves processing a volume of approximately 600 prescriptions daily using the Frameworks software system, with training provided if needed. The role is based in Newport News, VA, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, including rotating weekends. This is a direct hire position with an immediate start date.

Responsibilities:

• Perform PV1 and PV2 verifications accurately and efficiently
• Fill medications to meet patient needs and maintain compliance
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care
• Maintain documentation and adherence to facility policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Virginia Pharmacist license is required
• Recent pharmacy experience preferred; open to recent graduates
• LTC experience is a plus but not mandatory
• Ability to learn and adapt to the Frameworks software system
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
