An established and fast-paced retail pharmacy in Mount Sterling is looking for a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join their team. This is a great opportunity to step into a well-supported environment where patient care, teamwork, and efficiency are key priorities.

Youll be joining a pharmacy with strong technician support and a steady, high-volume workflow, allowing you to focus on what you do bestdelivering safe, high-quality care to your patients.

What Youll Be Responsible For
As a Staff Pharmacist, youll play a vital role in both patient care and daily operations:

• Review and verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy and safety
• Provide thoughtful, patient-focused counseling and medication guidance
• Lead workflow coordination alongside technicians and fellow pharmacists
• Utilize PioneerRx to manage prescription processing and operations
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations
• Support smooth day-to-day operations in a busy retail setting
• Deliver a welcoming and professional experience for every patient
• Participate in rotating Saturday coverage as part of the team

About the Pharmacy

Fills approximately 3,000 prescriptions weekly. Collaborative environment with reliable support and clear workflows.

Strong team structure:

• Weekdays: 2 pharmacists with 56 technicians
• Saturdays: 1 pharmacist with 34 technicians

What You Bring to the Team

• Active Kentucky Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent retail pharmacy experience highly preferred
• Experience with PioneerRx is a plus
• Ability to manage workload in a high-volume setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented
• Willingness to support 12 Saturdays per month

Schedule

• 9:00 AM 6:00 PM, four weekdays per week
• Occasional Saturday shift: 9:00 AM 2:00 PM
