Home Infusion Staff Pharmacist in Winston-Salem, NC

An opportunity is available for a skilled Infusion Pharmacist to join a pharmacy operation in Greensboro, NC, on a contract basis with the potential for long-term placement or permanent hire. This role is well-suited for professionals with a solid background in home infusion who thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include reviewing and verifying medication orders for infusion therapies, overseeing the preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications, and ensuring full compliance with USP standards and other regulatory requirements. The pharmacist will provide clinical support and drug information to both staff and patients, collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain smooth workflow and patient safety, and maintain accurate documentation.

Schedule:

• Expected to work 3 to 5 days per week (specific dates to be confirmed)

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent experience in infusion or home infusion pharmacy practice
• Strong expertise in sterile compounding
• Thorough knowledge of USP guidelines and compliance standards
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing situations

Additional Details:

• This is a signed contract assignment with immediate coverage needs
• Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) responsibilities are not required during the contract but willingness to assume PIC duties is needed if converted to permanent hire
