We are currently seeking a dedicated and licensed pharmacist to join our team at a healthcare facility in New Mexico. As an Indian Health Service (IHS) Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in providing pharmaceutical care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
  • Provide medication counseling to patients, ensuring they understand proper usage and potential side effects
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records of medications and pharmaceutical supplies
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal pharmacy regulations
  • Assist in managing inventory and ordering medications as needed
  • Administer immunizations and maintain immunization records
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required

Qualifications:

  • Valid pharmacist license from any state
  • Certificate of immunizations
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
  • Immunization certification is a plus

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 13-26 weeks
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
