Job Posting: Retail Pharmacist- Orlando, FL
Term: Contract, 8 weeks
Shift: Day time/evening hours- Full time.
Overview: Rph on the Go is seeking a dedicated and licensed Retail Pharmacist to join our team in Orlando, FL. This is a temporary contract position for 8 weeks with flexible day and evening shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering immunizations, preparing prescriptions, ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Administer immunizations.
- Prepare prescriptions, including entering patient information, drug allergies, and pharmaceutical history into the computer for processing.
- Ensure compliance with all government programs and laws related to pharmacy, including Medicaid, Medicare Part D, DMEPOS, and HIPAA.
- Fill prescriptions for customers.
- Handle third-party insurance claims.
- Perform medication therapy management.
- Maintain accurate records of controlled substances.
Requirements:
- Active pharmacist license in the state of Florida.
- Immunization certification.
- Comfortable with administering immunizations.
