Pharmacy Technician - Flexible Workplace - Las Vegas, NV
Overview:
RPh on the Go is seeking dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Technicians to join our remote team in the California area. As a remote Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering essential pharmacy services on behalf of our health plan clients. Your responsibilities will include engaging with patients over the phone, providing information about clinical programs and benefits, identifying potential medication-related and health-related issues, and assisting pharmacists in ensuring optimal patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Engage patients through phone communication to provide information on clinical programs and benefits.
- Identify and escalate potential medication-related and health-related issues to the pharmacist.
- Obtain accurate patient and provider information for facilitating clinical interventions.
- Respond professionally to phone inquiries from patients, providers, and pharmacies.
- Maintain accurate records in the designated software platform.
- Participate in process improvement meetings and team discussions to enhance workflows.
- Collaborate with healthcare facilities, pharmacies, and patients to resolve clinical concerns.
- Prepare and send patient educational materials and other necessary items as required.
- Schedule telephonic or videoconference appointments with clinical pharmacists for patients.
Requirements:
- Valid Pharmacy Technician license in the state of residence.
- Prior remote work experience in a pharmacy setting required.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Ability to work from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM PST.
