As a Staff Pharmacist in our growing pharmacy, you will play a critical role in supervising pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance, and providing expert pharmaceutical care. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to patient well-being and professional excellence. Open availability is a MUST as you will be covering PTO and call-offs as well as other needs that come up.


  • Perform duties assigned by the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC).
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians, students/interns, and support staff.
  • Ensure strict compliance with professional policies and procedures.
  • Oversee all activities related to medication dispensing.
  • Fill prescriptions accurately while verifying prescribing instructions.
  • Conduct clinical screenings to prevent negative drug interactions.
  • Counsel patients on medication use, potential side effects, and timing.
  • Refer to the detailed job description located in the files tab for additional information.


  • NY State Pharmacist License: Must hold a current and active NY State Pharmacist license with no negative history.
  • Educational Qualification: Graduated from an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program (Pharm.D.) and passed the NAPLEX.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to evaluate customer needs, prescriber orders, and medication effects.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication with customers, technicians, and interns.
  • Detail Oriented: Ensure accuracy of prescriptions prior to dispensing.
  • Managerial Skills: Proficient in inventory management, budgeting, and staff oversight.
