RPh on the Go is currently hiring for a Pharmacy Technician to join a growing long-term care pharmacy in North Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a key member of the pharmacy department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to long-term care facility residents. Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications to long-term care facility residents.
  • Prepare and package medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products.
  • Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Communicate with healthcare professionals and nursing staff to ensure accurate medication administration.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, insurance billing, and documentation.
  • Follow all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in medication dispensing and record-keeping.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with Frameworks software preferred
  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a long-term care or institutional setting.
  • PTCB preferred, but not required
